I have recently been told that I remind people of 1. Mary Poppins and 2. Doris Day.
Should I take either of these as a compliment?

- This blog started as a way to keep in touch with family while I lived and worked in Jodhpur, India. Since then I've been in France, Germany, Belgium, back to Alabama, back to France...and now in Alabama again. So, it's a little bit travel, a little bit cross-cultural, a little random and maybe politically incorrect. As of August 2009 it will focus more on international everything in Birmingham. Next up is a sojourn to ARGENTINA in December 2009.

Yes, Mary Poppins was bright, cheerful and had incredible powers. Doris Day was just adorable. Don't let the people who see resemblances hear you sing sing. Where are the pictures from Normandy?
It's funny how I remind people of Britney Spears and other women of ill repute in Asia, but in Europe I remind people of prudish and adorable girls.
